Halloween fun for kids

It's candy apple time and instead of having a huge apple covered in chocolate or toffee, try these slices.  Then you can have a few slices and make them with different flavour combinations as well.

How to Make Candy Apple Slices

Ingredients

Melting Chocolate, any flavour you like.
Sprinkles, chopped nuts, sweets anything that catches your eye.
Apples
Lollipop sticks

Method

Slice apples into about ⅛ inch thick.
Press a lollipop stick into the bottom of each slice of apple.
Place your apples onto a baking paper-lined tray.
Melt your chocolate.
Spoon the melted chocolate onto each apple slice, making sure the sides are coated (this acts as a seal)
Flip over the apple lollies gently and repeat covering the slices with chocolate.
Add your chosen decorations.
Leave to harden. (the fridge is best for this)

The apples should keep for a couple of days before they start to ooze out.
