Laura's Tilly Tearoom, Tillicoultry

09/07/2022 by Emma Leave a Comment

Popular tea and coffee spot in Tillicoultry

Laura's Tilly Tearoom is in, guess where? Tilly! aka Tillicoultry. The tearoom changed ownership over the pandemic and is now known as Laura's Tilly Tearoom, we hadn't visited beforehand, so we sorted this out now.

Inside it's homely and welcoming, and just what is expected from the outside.

We were lucky to get a table, so settled down to look at the menu.

What we ate

Cheese and ham toastie. Perfectly gooey cheese in this toastie. Fresh and crispy bread. Just what was needed.

Tuna baked potato. Perfectly cooked baked tattie with a lot of topping.

When there is mac and cheese on the menu, for the mac and cheese addicts, well it had to be ordered. Served with some cornbread, this was cheesy, comforting and the noms.

We were stuffed, but the cake selection looks amazing, so we had to order some to take home. 😉

Verdict

A fab wee place with great service, good food, and delish cakes. Well worth visiting.
