Great Malvern Food Festival Returns for 15th Anniversary with New Town Centre Location
One of Worcestershire’s most popular food events is set to return this summer as the Great Malvern Food Festival celebrates its 15th anniversary with a temporary new home in the heart of the town.

Taking place on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2026, the free festival will move to Grange Road, directly outside Malvern Theatres, while redevelopment works continue at Priory Park.

A highlight of the region’s summer calendar, the festival attracts thousands of visitors each year and showcases the best of local food, drink and artisan producers from across Worcestershire and the surrounding counties.
Visitors can browse a wide selection of artisan market stalls, enjoy freshly prepared street food, sample locally produced goods and discover regional beers and ciders. Live music, street performers and family-friendly entertainment will add to the festival atmosphere throughout the weekend.
The event runs from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday, offering two full days of food, drink and community celebrations.
Organised by Malvern Hills District Council in partnership with Boffy Markets, the festival is supported by construction company Speller Metcalfe, which is currently leading the redevelopment of Malvern Theatres.
As one of the few large-scale food festivals in the region with free entry, the event continues to play an important role in supporting local producers, independent businesses and the wider visitor economy.
Daniel Walton, Portfolio Holder for Economy and Tourism at Malvern Hills District Council, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome the Great Malvern Food Festival back for another year. It has become one of the area’s most anticipated summer events, attracting visitors from across the region and providing a fantastic platform for local producers, traders and entertainers.
“With free entry, a vibrant atmosphere and plenty of fantastic food and drink to enjoy, we’re looking forward to welcoming residents and visitors alike for another memorable weekend.”
Festival organisers have confirmed that the event is expected to return to its traditional home at Priory Park from 2028 once redevelopment works have been completed.
