Event Preview: Springfest at Loch Lomond Shores 1st & 2nd April

29/03/2017 by Emma Leave a Comment

Glasgow food and drink business to shine at Loch Lomond Shores Springfest

Looking to get out of the city this weekend? Then one place to go to on 1st and 2nd April is Loch Lomond Shores who will be holding one of the largest food and drink festivals in the country.  Glasgow food and drink businesses such as the Bijou Wine Co, Firedog, Street Food Putter Club, gluten free delicious cakes by Amo Torta and Scotland’s Gourmet Kitchen are just some of the Glasgow-based producers who will be attending this weekend.

Springfest is now in its third year and is easy to get to from Glasgow - by train, bus and car.  Set on the banks of Loch Lomond, the festival is free and has lots to offer from free kids cooking workshops,  live music, demos, tastings, a stilt walking chef and the chance to get up close to a jaw-dropping 8ft tall T-Rex!

A handy map showing what is on and where to find it can be found here.
