Recipe: Dry January Moscow Mule Mocktail

Banish the January blues and with a ginger beer mocktail

Mr Foodie loves ginger beer, ginger sweeties and well basically ginger in any form! He's also a bit poorly just now with man flu (snigger) so needs lots of fluids - surely some ginger will do his system some good?

As part of Dry January, the chaps at Fentimans asked us to come up with a mocktail using their wares.

So Dry January + Fentimans and Mr Foodie with a cold = Moscow Mule to me!  Some warming ginger beer and vitamin-tastic apple juice to cheer yourself up in the dark days and nights.

Don't be scared of ginger beer, this isn't the strong stuff, sure it has a spicy bite but it's without the intensity of Idris fiery ginger beer and what you'll find in Holland & Barrett, nor has it the sweetness of ginger ale.
Fentimans ginger beer Moscow Mule cocktail

Non Alcoholic Moscow Mules

Ingredients:

120ml Fentimans Gingerbread Beer
50ml Cloudy Apple juice (As it's a bit more tangy I think)
18ml Lime Juice
Apple/mint to garnish

Instructions

Add all ingredients in a glass and stir.

Garnish with apple slices and mint sprig. It's that simple!
