Glasgow’s Best Independent Food Shop shortlist

The BBC Good Food Show Scotland team in conjunction with BBC Good Food Magazine have released their shortlist for best independent food shop.

The winner will receive a free stand at the Show to showcase their shop to thousands of food loving visitors.

BBC Good Food Senior Food Editor and Judge, Barney Desmazery, says: “Glasgow is a fantastic city with an amazing food scene and incredible local produce – I can’t wait to find this year’s winner!”

The shortlisted independent food shops will be visited by judges who will be looking at the following:
– Range of international and local produce
– Quality and value of produce
– Product knowledge and enthusiasm
– Customer service
– Services, facilities and community involvement
