Emma Die Tagung, back in the GDR!
The area around Simon-Dach-Strasse in East Berlin is filled with places to hangout and Die Tagnung has pulled us back for a beer on a couple of visits.
It has a typical Berlin flavour, in that it is filled with bits and bobs, nooks and is somewhere you can just chill in. If you are seeking a GDR Bar in Berlin then Die Tagnung is for you.
Filled with GDR artwork, it’s the kind of place to meet your comrades. In fact, Die Tagnung means conference and this is the kind of conference venue I’d happily attend.
