Rhône wine event comes to Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo HQ

After the success of last June’s Rhône in white event at the Sky Bar in Edinburgh, in May of this year, there will be another chance to experience the flavours of the Rhône valley. If you enjoyed last year’s event, or missed it, then block out Sunday 31st May on your calendar, when The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo HQ on Cockburn Street will host an afternoon dedicated to one of France’s most celebrated regions. From well-loved Côtes du Rhônes to renowned Crus including Hermitage, Condrieu, Crozes-Hermitage, Vacqueyras, Tavel and Rasteau. If you love French wine, then this is a fantastic opportunity to taste and discover some new favourites, and we have a code that allows two people to attend for the price of one. Wine expert Diana Thompson will host a Rhône wine masterclass from 3:00pm – 3:45pm, featuring four carefully selected Crus des Côtes du Rhône wines paired with complementary dishes.

The tasting line-up includes:

Fruity and elegant reds
Bold reds with deeper tannins
