Sobieski unveils a terrifying trio of Halloween cocktails– inspired by iconic horror movies
Just in time for this year’s Halloween celebrations, popular Polish vodka Sobieski has created three deadly yet delicious cocktails which pay homage to horror’s most iconic movie villains.
To create the spooky serves, the brand’s mixologist Ryan Way took inspiration from three cinematic cult classics – IT, Candyman and Silence of the Lambs – to conjure up the perfect accompaniment for any ghoulish get together!
Simple to make at home and striking to serve to both friends and foe, each cocktail makes the most of the smooth taste of 100% rye Polish Sobieski vodka, which blends perfectly with a whole host of weird and wonderful ingredients.
In the spirit of the film…The Hannibal Lecter cocktail uses a ‘nice chianti’ to balance its rich fruity flavour, whilst The Candyman’s sweet honey notes are guaranteed to create a buzz. And for those who fancy a taste of the big top, The Pennywise candyfloss creation will ensure all your guests are talking about ‘IT’.
Ryan Way said: ‘Halloween is becoming increasingly popular across the UK, so I wanted to create some spine-tingling cocktails that are easy to recreate at home to enjoy with family and friends. Sobieski is such a versatile spirit and is delicious served up in a whole host of cocktails, so whether you are planning a scary movie screening of your own, or hosting a fancy dress gathering, these three spooktacular cocktails will offer something for everyone.’
