Tasting wines from New York State

Did you know there are over 1,600 family vineyards and 400 wineries in New York State?  No, us neither so it’s time to get trying some.🍷

Wine Events Scotland are holding an online wine tasting on Friday 30th April along with the renowned presenter, author and Daily Telegraph wine writer Susy Atkins.

Susy-Atkins-300x169Virtually journey around the five regions of New York State and taste a selection of wines from the Finger Lakes region. There are two sessions for you to choose from with each session tasting different wines, two whites and a red.

The wines and wineries you’ll be tasting at each session are as follows;

6.30 pm
Dr Frank Dry Riesling 2019
Red Newt Dry Riesling 2016
Brotherhood Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

8 pm
Forge Cellars Dry Riesling Classique 2019
Osmote Chardonnay Seneca Lake 2018
Nathan Kendall Pinot Noir 2017

How does a virtual wine tasting work?

When you place a booking,  you’ll receive the 3 full bottles of wines by Tuesday 27 April. The tastings will last about an hour.

The aim is that it’s a relaxed, enjoyable, informal and informative evening. The app we’ll be using is Zoom so if you don’t already have it, please download it here. Please note only one order per household is required – providing of course you’re happy to share the wines and the PC screen!

Wine Saver – Special Offer!
If you’re coming to planning to come to both tastings then you might like to order a Wine Events Scotland branded Vacuvin Wine Saver Pump for £10 (cost on Amazon is £15.99).

Online, a Zoom link will be sent to you by Wine Events Scotland.

30th April 2021
