New European Sleeper links Hamburg to Brussels and Paris by night train
Community-owned Dutch night train operator European Sleeper will add Hamburg as a new stop on its Paris–Berlin night train service from 13 July 2026.
The inclusion of Hamburg strengthens the city’s role as a key international rail hub and significantly improves connections between Western Europe, northern Germany and Scandinavia.

The Paris-Berlin route is scheduled to start operations at the end of March 2026, with
the first departure from Paris planned for Thursday, 26 March. Departures from Paris are planned for Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with arrival in Hamburg early the following morning.
The return service from Hamburg will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights.
The stop in Hamburg is planned at the Hamburg-Harburg station in the south of the city from 13 July 2026. European Sleeper is currently coordinating the final timetable with infrastructure managers in the countries along the route. Detailed schedules will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
