Irish Coffee Stout from Edinburgh Walkie Talky Brewing Co.
Walkie Talky Brewing Co. are based at The Biscuit Factory in Edinburgh. They have been brewing since 2021, however, I think this is the first check-in I have had on Untapped for one of their brews.

Today I am sampling 3rd Craic which is their Irish Coffee Stout. One of my favourite styles, so I was looking forward to a smooth and luxurious-tasting stout.
It poured like a dream, a beautiful festival of twirling beer. (OK Emma, step away from the beer!) I could happily sit and gaze at a settling stout for an age. Once settled, the colour is a thick black, just like a freshly poured pot of coffee. The coffee aroma isn’t strong, just enough to tempt me in for a gulp.

So what does it taste like? A coffee stout!, I know that is a get out however, it is a classic coffee stout taste. A creamy and lux mouthfeel with some bitterness on the tongue at the end. I would have liked it a little thicker in the mouth, however enjoyable enough to order one again.
