Emma AA Rosette for The Scotsman Hotel
The Scotsman Hotel, a 4 star luxury hotel in Edinburgh, has been awarded its first AA Rosette this month for its outstanding culinary offer, professional service and show-stopping presentation.
Located on the historic North Bridge, the Hotel boasts 10 floors of luxurious rooms, suites and a duplex Penthouse offering guests unrivalled views including Edinburgh Castle, Calton Hill, The Scott Monument and beyond.
The Hotel also features ‘The Grand Cafe’ – an all-day brasserie restaurant, three bars, a boutique cinema and a range of events spaces.
Awarded for culinary excellence in the UK, the mystery inspectors were impressed by the fresh, seasonal quality of the food, skilful cooking techniques and exemplary service from the Front of House Team.
Behind the scenes, we worked hard to perfect our sourcing, presentation, and consistency – making sure every dish showed real care, skill, and passion.
It was a real team effort – the kitchen, front-of-house, sourcing, menu planning all pulled together. The recognition of the Rosette is not just a nice badge, but a signal to our guests that the Grand Café is delivering a dining experience of distinction.
