Recipe: Ginger Spiced Cocktail with Gingerbread Gin Liqueur

A spicy gingerbread, coffee and cream cocktail for the festive season

Lidl have a new addition to their Hortus gin range; Gingerbread Gin Liqueur and they have shared this delicious sounding specially-created Ginger Spiced cocktail recipe with us.

Spicy ginger notes combined with warming cinnamon make a base to this creamy festive cocktail which is a blend of espresso coffee, Hortus Gingerbread Gin Liqueur and a cheeky splash of single cream.

Lidl’s Hortus Gingerbread Gin Liqueur will be available in store next week

Ginger Spiced Cocktail (1 serving)

40ml Hortus Gingerbread Gin Liqueur
15ml espresso
Single cream
Cocoa Powder for dusting

Combine the gingerbread liqueur, coffee and cream in a cocktail shaker along with plenty of ice.

Shake together, and then strain into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish with a dusting of cocoa powder and serve immediately.

  • 40 ml Hortus Gingerbread Gin Liqueur
  • 15 ml espresso
  • Single cream
  • Cocoa Powder for dusting

  • Combine the gingerbread liqueur, coffee and cream in a cocktail shaker along with plenty of ice.
  • Shake together, and then strain into a chilled martini glass.
  • Garnish with a dusting of cocoa powder and serve immediately.
