Are we onto a winner at Pinner?
The Greasy Spoon Guide research continues with a visit to Pinner Cafe. A short walk from Euston Railway Station so handy for breakfast after coming off the Caledonian Sleeper or Avanti West Coast train.

The welcome was warm, so we settled down to decide on what to order.
Menu at Pinner Cafe

What we ate and drank
A couple of mugs of tea, with the tea bag still in of course.

Egg, bacon, bubble & Squeak and sausage £6.
A herby sausage however it had no texture to give it a good sausage chew. The bacon was salty and fatty. I can’t find words for the bubble…one forkful was consumed. Just as well I could steal some toast for dipping into the egg.

Pinner set breakfast £8. egg, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, hash browns, two toast and tea.
Good tea and excellent toast, the rest was whilst value for money given being near to Kings Cross / Euston / British Library, the quality and taste wasn’t there.

Verdict
Meh. Lovely service but let down with the food quality. Pinner Café receives great reviews online, sadly we didn’t feel the same. Would come back for tea and toast.
