Smoked back bacon, sage fried egg and homemade ketchup bun

Journey worthy food at Eastfield Dundee

This was a beauty. Smoked back bacon, a sage fried egg and homemade ketchup in a sturdy bun. The egg was the star, with the sage adding a lovely savoury hit. The bacon was smoky and full of flavour, while the ketchup had just enough sweetness without taking over.

A completely different style of breakfast dish, but just as good. Creamy whipped ricotta, tangy poached rhubarb and chewy sourdough made this fresh, delicate and satisfying. A gorgeous plate for anyone who prefers something lighter but still interesting.
