Food served with splendour
We let our feet lead the way for breakfast and they walked into Eastfield on Dundee’s Perth Road.

Dundee isn’t the first city you think of for it’s foodie scene, however Harris McNeill is one of the many Dundonians, like Noch, Wine Press and more, who are changing this.
The interior of Eastfield is dominated by the chalkboard, beckoning you in to taste.

The colour scheme is calming with rustic colours and fixtures, plus a fireplace calling you to sit here for autumn days and coffee.
As well as the food and drink side, there is an array of Foodie items for sale such as Glen Lyon Roasters coffee, and Eastfield’s own pickles, jams, and sauces.

Menu

Eastfield is open from 9am – 4pm, Wednesday – Sunday, and from 6pm – 10pm on Saturdays. It is so relaxed that the breakfast menu is served all day. Superb, sometimes you just need a roll at 2pm.
From 12, starters and mains are also served so you could mix and match.
Our early arrival meant a choice ftom the breakfast menu, we still struggled to pick something.

We started off with a couple of refreshing home made sodas as we decided on what to eat.

Look at that egg…smoked back bacon, sage fried egg, home made ketchup on a sturdy bun. Perfect. Emma doesnt normally like fried egg white, however the sage flavouring tempted her to steal a bite, or two! Delicious smokey bacon and not overly sweet ketchup.

Whipped ricotta, poached rhubarb, cherry Blossom on sourdough. Creamy, tangy, chewy yet delicate. Another winner.
