VINO at W Algarve Launches New Sommelier’s Table Wine Dinner Series

The first exclusive dinner takes place on 3 July in partnership with Portuguese wine producer Van Zellers & Co.

VINO at W Algarve is set to launch a new Sommelier’s Table Signature Wine Dinner Series, bringing together exceptional Portuguese wines, carefully matched menus and expert storytelling in one of the Algarve’s most stylish dining settings.

The first event will take place on 3 July 2026 in partnership with acclaimed Portuguese wine producer Van Zellers & Co., offering guests an intimate evening of wine, food and discovery.

Created for wine lovers, food enthusiasts and curious diners, the new Sommelier’s Table Series will shine a spotlight on some of Portugal’s most respected wine producers. Each dinner will feature a specially curated menu, with every course paired to showcase the character, craftsmanship and heritage of the featured winery.

Guests attending the inaugural VINO x Van Zellers evening will be welcomed with an aperitif before sitting down to a multi-course dinner paired with a selection of distinguished Van Zellers wines. A dedicated sommelier will guide guests through each pour, sharing the stories behind the wines, the history of the producer and the flavours that make each pairing special.

Van Zellers & Co. is one of Portugal’s most historic wine names, with family roots dating back to the 17th century. Closely associated with the Douro Valley, the producer is known for wines that respect tradition while embracing contemporary winemaking. The collaboration offers guests a chance to experience the depth, elegance and heritage of one of Portugal’s most distinguished wine families.

The launch of the Sommelier’s Table Series marks the beginning of an ongoing programme at VINO, with future dinners set to feature renowned wineries and producers from across Portugal and beyond. The series aims to position W Algarve as a destination for elevated food and wine experiences, combining relaxed luxury with thoughtful gastronomy.
