Emma Bristol Packet Boats Avon Gorge Cruise is making its long-awaited return from 26th April 2026.

Relax and unwind on the river as you enjoy spectacular views of Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Avon Gorge. This cruise travels through the Floating Harbour before locking onto the tidal Avon and heading towards the Bristol Channel in the wake of a 1000 years of shipping.
Live commentary will keep you entertained and all of their boats have a fully licensed bar on board serving hot and cold drinks. No food is provided on this trip, but you are welcome to bring a packed lunch!

This trip is not recommended for younger children and toddlers as there are no stops and limited space for moving around on board.
The Avon Gorge Cruise is hosted on either the Tower Belle, or Bagheera depending on availability and weather.
The closest car park is SS Great Britain Parking. This short stay car park is Pay & Display and does not accept card payments. Payment can be made with cash (COINS ONLY) or via the RingGo app. Maximum stay 5 hours.
