Driving the revival of night train travel, with a clear path towards profitability.
After successfully completing a €3.0 million sharefunding round at the end of 2025,
European Sleeper is now issuing a further €1 million in shares to support its 2026
ambitions.
These include a new Paris-Berlin route and the earlier start of the night train from Amsterdam/Brussels to Switzerland/ Milan.

This supports the company’s
growth strategy to increase impact and strengthen long-term viability.
More than 250,000 travellers
have already boarded its Good Night Train between Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin,
Dresden and Prague. Ticket sale revenues have grown rapidly from €3.5 million in 2023 to around €10.5 million in 2025, delivering an average annual growth rate of 73%.

In 2026, European Sleeper will scale from one to three operational routes, with
revenues projected to triple compared to 2025. While the first route is expected to
reach operational profitability in 2026, the company’s growth strategy is projected to
deliver overall positive results from 2028.
Additional routes create further revenue
opportunities and allow overhead costs to be spread across a broader network.
Retail investors are invited to become a co-owner from €160
European Sleeper’s cooperative ownership model remains unique in the railway
sector. Anyone who believes in affordable, comfortable and low-impact travel can
become a co-owner. The company’s start-up and rapid growth have been made
possible by a community of nearly 6,000 supporters across Europe.
European Sleeper aims to raise
€1.0 million, divided into two tranches of €500,000. The primary objective of the
proceeds is to accelerate the launch of the new night train service to Milan.
This route was initially scheduled to start in October 2026 between Brussels and
Milan. European Sleeper now aims to bring the service forward to the summer of 2026
and plans to include through coaches to and from Amsterdam. The service will
operate three times a week in both directions, with planned stops in Cologne and several locations in Switzerland.
