Tony Parkin to open new restaurant in The Wirral

Chef Tony Parkin and his wife, Laura will be opening a new restaurant in The Wirral early this year.

Tony and Laura will be opening DAISE by Tony Parkin in a partnership between the 42-year-old chef and Open Restaurant Group (ORG).  The independent restaurant group, run by chef Andrew Sheridan, and business partners Sam and Emma Morgan, will fully support the venture as it moves into premises formerly occupied by ORG-owned OXA in Rose Mount.

DAISE – a nod to Tony’s daughter Daisy – will be Tony’s debut solo restaurant, a small, intimate restaurant in which Laura will run the front of house.
He’d previously held a Michelin star at Cliff House Hotel in Waterford, Ireland, where he spent two years, before moving back in England at the start of 2025. His stint in Ireland featured on Apple TV’s Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars. Tony also appeared on BBC’s Great British Menu and brings with him a wealth of experience, having also won a Michelin star during his time at the Tudor Room at The Great Fosters Hotel in Egham.

A sample six-course menu shared by Parkin on Instagram was priced at £110.

He said: ““I’m really excited to have my name above the door, along with opening a restaurant that will be personal for both myself and Laura and will give our guests a relaxed experience with high-quality food and a warm welcome.”
