A French Institution in Covent Garden
Located on Garrick Street, Le Garrick has long been a favourite with Londoners, theatre-goers, visitors and romantics looking for an authentic French dining experience in the West End.
Step inside and the pace changes. Candlelit tables, rustic interiors, cosy corners and classic French cooking create a little slice of France in central London.
The restaurant is owned by Dominika and Charles Lepelletier, who first met at Le Garrick more than twenty years ago. Charles, originally from France, has helped shape the menu with influences from Toulouse, Burgundy and the Basque Country.
Proudly Independent and Family Run
In an area filled with chains, Le Garrick remains proudly independent and family run. The restaurant is split across two levels, with a bright upstairs dining room and an atmospheric downstairs space with exposed brickwork, candlelit alcoves and intimate booths.
Regulars will also know one of Le Garrick’s best-loved traditions. Whisper “Fais Peter la Poire” to a member of staff at the end of your meal and your table may be treated to a complimentary shot of Pear Williams.
40 Years of French Hospitality
Speaking about the anniversary, Dominika and Charles said:
“Reaching 40 years is an incredible milestone for any independent restaurant, particularly in the heart of London’s theatre district. Le Garrick has always been about creating a home-from-home experience where guests can enjoy authentic French food, excellent wine and memorable moments with family and friends. We are enormously grateful to everyone who has supported us over the past four decades.”
