Recipe: Sugar Free Seville Orange Curd with Natvia


  • 125 g unsalted butter
  • 400 g Natvia
  • 1 kg Seville Oranges
  • 4 eggs


  • Juice the oranges (no need to zest as Sevilles' pack a punch!
  • Add the butter, sugar and juice to a saucepan.
  • Heat gently, stirring, until the butter melts and the sugar dissolves.
  • Add the mixture to your bowl or basin, and leave to cool for 10 minutes.
  • While it is cooling, beat the eggs.
  • Add the beaten eggs to the mixture, and mix well.
  • Place the bowl on top of a saucepan of water.
  • Simmer the water gently, stirring the contents of the bowl.
  • When the curd covers the back of a wooden spoon, place aside.
  • Sterilise your jars.
  • Fill them with hot orange curd and leave to cool.
