Nettle Crisps Recipe

Nettle Crisps Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • A bowl full of young nettle leaves
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Freshly ground salt & pepper
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast or Parmesan if not vegan or you don’t have any

Instructions
 

  • Combine oil, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and nutritional yeast (or cheese) in a large bowl.
  • The nettles will sting here so be aware!
  • Toss in your leaves and make sure they get a good coating.
  • Place the nettles on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake in a low oven at around 130C until they crisp up or cook in an air fryer.
  • Place the nettle crisps in a bowl.
  • Munch.
