- 1.5 kg silverside
- 1 onion roughly chopped
- 1 carrot roughly chopped
- 10 peppercorns
- 2 bay leaves
- 50 g brown sugar
- 100 ml malt vinegar
- water to cover
Place the onion, carrot, peppercorns, bay leaves and brown sugar into the slow cooker.
Add the silverside on top.
Add the malt vinegar and fill with water until you completely cover the meat
Cook on low for 8 hours.
