  • 1 knife
  • 1 chopping board

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 kg silverside
  • 1 onion roughly chopped
  • 1 carrot roughly chopped
  • 10 peppercorns
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 100 ml malt vinegar
  • water to cover

Instructions
 

  • Place the onion, carrot, peppercorns, bay leaves and brown sugar into the slow cooker.
  • Add the silverside on top.
  • Add the malt vinegar and fill with water until you completely cover the meat
  • Cook on low for 8 hours.
