Christmas winter warmer at Haymarket Pumpkin Cafe

That’s the way the cookie crumbles

Another train journey and another sugary Christmas drink.  This time I picked a regular Cookie Crumble Latte from Pumpkin cafe.  Also on offer are a Salted Caramel Latte and a Winter Spiced Tea.

Pumpkin Cafe is on platform 4 (the one for Glasgow trains) at Haymarket Station in Edinburgh.  As well as coffee you can buy umbrellas, painkillers and bananas. What an Aladdin’s cave!

I ordered a Cookie Crumble Latte as I had been judging pies earlier and needed something sweet to give me a boost.

That was the only bonus.  Otherwise, the coffee was weak, the taste extremely sweet and sugary (even too much for me when I was looking for a sugar boost!) and to top it off the cookies which had earlier disappeared ended up here ⬇️

I felt a bit queasy for the rest of the day, so I don’t think I’ll be rushing back for another one 🙁
