Smokey bacon wrapped potatoes

Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 500 g baby potatoes
  • 14 slices of streaky bacon sliced in half.
  • Chopped flat-leaf parsley for garnish
  • Aioli

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375F/190C/Gas 5.
  • Take a rimmed baking sheet and line with aluminium foil.
  • Mix together, in a bowl, garlic, oil, smoked paprika, brown sugar, dry mustard, and salt. Add the baby potatoes.
  • Mix the potatoes around in the mixture until the potatoes are fully coated.
  • Take a potato and wrap a strip of streaky bacon around it.
  • Place onto the baking tray.
  • Continue with the rest of the potatoes.
  • Bake until the potatoes are tender - this sound take about 50-60 minutes.
  • Serve warm with aioli on the side for dipping.
  • Garnish with parsley if required.
