Pork Kofta

  • 500 g pork mince
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper


  • In a large bowl, combine minced pork, garlic, oregano, cumin, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well. I find using your hands is best as you can get stuck in.
  • Leave the mixture to rest for ten mins, or more if you can but don’t worry if you can’t.
  • Take a large handful of pork mixture and press it into a sausage shape. Or wrap around a skewer.
  • Continue until all of the mixture has been used.
  • Either cook on a BBQ or heat on a grill or frying pan.
  • These kebabs cook quickly, needing only a few minutes on each side
  • Serve with salad and dips.
