Preheat a griddle or your frying pan to medium heat.
Butter one side of each slice of bread.
Place bread butter side down on pan and top with cheese.
Top with the other slice of bread so the butter is face up.
Cook until golden brown on the first side (2-3 minutes), flip and cook until golden brown on the other side, about another 2 minutes.
Place on cutting board or place and use a large biscuit cutter to cut into a circle.
