Recipe: Halloween Chocolate Orange Cobweb Jelli


  • 12 oranges enough juice to make 500mls
  • 4 strips gelatine
  • 25 g dark chocolate


  • Peel the oranges and juice until you have 500 mls.
  • Pour the orange juice into a pot and cook until nearly boiling.
  • Remove from the heat.
  • In a seperate bowl, add the gelatine stips to cold water.
  • Leave for 5 mins until spongy and softened.
  • Squeeze out any excess water.
  • Stir the gelatine into orange juice until it dissolves.
  • Let the mixture cool a little, then divide between 4-6 small serving dishes.
  • Place in the fridge for at least 5 hours or preferably overnight.
  • Cover a baking sheet with some baking paper.
  • Melt the chocolate.
  • Pour the melted chocolate in to a small piping bag.
  • Now pipe out 4-6 spider web shapes onto the baking paper.
  • Place in the fridge to harden.
  • Peel chocolate cobweb away from the paper.
  • Place on top of the jelly.
