Baltic Ice Bar
This 20 -person capacity ice-bar is to be constructed entirely of ice within the Snow Factor development and located adjacent to the main 170 metre long snow slope.
Snow Factor’s Ice Bar is set to be the coolest bar in Scotland (I know!) and will serve a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic concoctions chilled to perfection. Visitors will discover the walls, bar, tables and even the glasses are made of ice.
The inside temperature will be approximately minus 6C, so Snow Factor plans to provide all patrons with snug jackets for their visit. Visits to the ice bar will be restricted to 45 minutes.(Don’t want you turnjng inti an in icicle).
Jamie Smith, who also owns Ice Factor Kinlochleven, the world’s largest indoor ice climbing facility, commented:
“From New York to London, trendy sub-zero ice-bars are proving to be extremely popular. Now not only can our skiing, snowboarding and ice climbing customers enjoy an ice time with their friends, but partygoers from Scotland and beyond will be able to enjoy a unique, fun and memorable venue less than 10 minutes from Glasgow city centre and the airport.”
The Ice Bar will open at Snow Factor Braehead on Thursday 2nd April 2015.
