Waverley Tearoom, Shawlands 15th April 2008

waverley club sandwich £5.95
triple deck toasted sandwich filled with bacon, chicken,
tomato, lettuce, light mayo & chips

Pretty small serving I thought for what is punted as a “dinner type meal”. Sandwich was a bit dry, no condiments offered. Plate also sat for about an hour before the server cleaned it away. Also a bit of a stroppy face too.

Building work going on outside at the moment so entry through the fire exit (is this legal???) with a great draught going through the place. Most of the people visiting were sitting with their coats still on. The industrial sized hired heater didn’t help at all.

Kronenbourg was £3 for a pint too.

Bah!
