‘Contini at Home’ Valentine’s Day menus
Third generation Italian Scots, Victor and Carina Contini, are the proud owners of Edinburgh’s award-winning Contini George Street, The Scottish Cafe & Restaurant at the Scottish National Gallery and Cannonball Restaurant & bar at Castlehill on the Royal Mile.
The independent, family-run restaurants showcase the very best seasonal and local Scottish produce on each of its three ‘Contini at Home’ menus.
Contini George Street Valentine’s Menu
The ‘Contini at Home’ George Street Valentine’s Day menu includes rosemary focaccia served with sun dried tomato salsa; Vialone Nano risotto with fresh Scottish lobster, Amalfi lemon and fresh chilli; roast sea bass with Italian fennel, datterini tomatoes, capers and dill; plus chocolate and Amarena cherry tiramisu – Contini’s own classic Genovese sponge soaked with Marsala and Amarena cherries layered with mascarpone and 70% cocoa.

The Scottish Cafe’s Vegetarian Valentine’s Menu
The ‘Contini a Home’ Scottish Cafe’s Vegetarian Valentine’s Menu includes rosemary focaccia with whipped Mara seaweed butter; Phantassie Jerusalem artichoke veloute with mushroom, thyme and Mull cheddar crumble; Spinach and Errington’s goats curd crepes with caramelised red onions and onion purée; followed by 70% chocolate pot, blood orange gel and chocolate crumb.
Cannonball House Valentine’s Menu
The ‘Contini at Home’ Cannonball House Valentine’s Menu includes rosemary focaccia with whipped Mara seaweed butter; chicken liver parfait with homemade walnut and raisin bread and bitter orange chutney; slow cooked beef cheek with butter mash, confit Phantassie shallots dressing; followed by creme brulee (made easy without the brulee) with poached rhubarb, ginger meringues and almond brittle.
Have a leisurely brunch with Milk’s Valentines Brunch Box available as either Original, Vegetarian or Vegan. A box is £35.00 and serves two. Goodies such as Heatherfield Smokehouse smoked salmon , Almond croissants,

Fhior Valentine’s Dinner for two people
3 courses for 80.00 for two people for delivery on Saturday 13th February only.
Lobster and crab ravioli with shellfish bisque and Exmoor caviar to start, followed by Roe deer loin with charred ‘January King’ cabbage, confit beetroot, beetroot ketchup and pearl barley; and finished with milk chocolate and koji fudge delice.

The Edinburgh School of Food & Wine Valentines Home Delivery Meal will be delivered Friday 12th to Sunday 14th February

The Bon Vivant At Home For Valentines Day
Bon Vivant’s 3-course meal includes a choice of starter and main course, followed by baked chocolate tart and petit fours.
Priced at £50 for 2 people, collection is available on Saturday 13 February between midday and 4pm.
Choose from Provence Seafood Platter or a four course meal of Loch Fyne Oysters, Tenderstem Broccoli and spice Almonds, Scottish Borders Rib roast and Bleeding Heart for desert.
Both options come with a bottle of delicious organic Cremant.
Valentine At Home Harvey Nichols
Harvey Nichols Fourth Floor Brasserie are offering a special HN @ home for Valentine’s Day. Dishes include lobster, beef wellington, passionfruit cheesecake, chocolate strawberries and a cheese course.
The three course menu with a cocktail is £25 per person and the four course Valentine’s meal is £100 for two.
Orders can be placed online now for delivery across areas of Scotland (£5 fee) or for local Edinburgh collection.
Tigerlily “with Love” Valentine’s box
The box includes Scottish East coast lobster, Grantown on Spey Ribeye and Ferrero Rocher baked chocolate fondant. Plus there’s a cheese board, petit fours and Love Potion No.9 cocktail. That’s not all, also included is breakfast for the next day, comprising The Tigerlily ‘sausage & egg muffin’ Scottish pork & herb patty, oven baked English muffin, cheese & local free-range eggs.
