Universal, Sauchiehall Lane, Glasgow – Feb 2011 ***CLOSED***

EDIT: This is now Malones Irish Bar.

With the original choice of lunch venue closed, we ventured to Universal. Only two other people in for lunch but a friendly waitress and a pair of starving people meant we needed food

Lasagne with hand cut chips and garlic bread for £6.50

Very mincy lasagne not your usual watery stuff, good chips although some garlic on the garlic bread would be good, although kudos for actually using real bread and not those frozen baguette things.

and

Chicken Enchiladas for £7.50

Big chunks of chicken but no spice 🙁 Could have done with some more kick to it, maybe something more around the chicken inside.

Clean and tidy, music tv on in the background.

Total cost £17 inc two soft drinks.

Menu can be found HERE.
