Travel: New York Sight-Seeing Passes

Planning to visit New York Attractions

One of the best (or worst!) bits of a holiday is the planning.  Thankfully Mrs Foodie loves a bit of planning so going through websites such as NYCGO.com is her idea of fun.  Information on each of the boroughs, must see attractions as well as things to do and where to stay are listed.  Basically, everything you need to know.

We had no idea on where to visit or how to go about it.  NYC was all new to us.  We spied the New York CityPASS which gives you entry to six attractions for $116.  If you buy the tickets separately the cost would be $193. Therefore more dollars for coffee (bagels!).

We found the pass easy to use and keep your eye out for the CityPass sign at venues as there are special queues for quick access.

Another pass is the New York Pass.  This pass has entry to over 80 attractions and can be purchased in 1day up to 10 day passes. You have 12 months from the date of purchase to collect and activate your passes.  As soon as you receive your New York Pass confirmation number you can book tours in advance.
