Ti Lounge at Hilton Hotel, Glasgow – Jan 2013

Located within the  star Hilton Hotel is Tì.  A tea lounge with a difference.  We attended a sample session as part of Scottish Food Blogger Network meet up.

Ti  is the Gaelic word for tea and follows on from the Gaelic names of the bar and restaurant area of the hotel.   A modernly decorated lounge, casually set out but also with an intimate feel.

Each of these afternoon teas come with tea of your choice, which you can choose by browsing a case of teas, opening each bottle, sniffing the contents, using your nose to guide you along the way (with the help of your server and the menu guide as well).

The setting was intimate, food devine and the tea selection and advice very helpful.  I can still smell the lovely Jasmine Pearl tea.

We loved it and will certainly be back.

Thank you to Hilton Glasgow for the delicious evening, DADA for liaising and Scottish Bloggers Network for organising.
