Get your buddies together for Paisley Food and Drink Festival this weekend

Paisley Food and Drink Festival takes place this weekend (26-27 April) and there will be over 40 traders and vendors showcasing the best street food Scotland has to offer, a dedicated NEW vegan and vegetarian zone, over 70 real ales, gin workshops and demonstrations from Matt Pritchard, host of the BBC’s first vegan cookery show, ‘Dirty Vegan’.

Getting to the festival is easy. There is free car parking at the weekend, and the site is  a short walk from Paisley Gilmour Railway Station.

There is also:-
– Demonstrations from Masterchef The Professionals winner Gary MacLean
– Sample over 70 real ales at the CAMRA Beer Tent
– Gin tasting workshops from one of Scotland’s leading independent bars, Gin71
– Live music, fun fair and other entertainment

I am Emma and with my husband Mark write Foodie Explorers, which is a food and travel website.

I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers and British Guild of Travel Writers.

We have a wide range of judging experience covering products, hotels and have judged, for example, for Great Taste Awards and Scottish Baker of the Year.

Along the way Mark gained WSET Level 2 in Wine and I have WSET Level 2 in Spirits as well as picking up an award with The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards.
