We were at the launch of The Wee Restaurant on Edinburgh’s Frederick Street but haven’t had the time to go back. We’ll be making an effort to do so now as they have a fabulous offer on this summer. Every Saturday in June and July between 3 – 5pm, 2 people can each enjoy their Shetland mussels with bacon, fresh basil, pine nuts & Parmesan cream with a glass of wine for £15.
Chef owner Craig Wood developed the unique recipe for the menu at The Wee Restaurant in North Queensferry when they opened over 11 years ago, and they’ve been serving them every day since. They are very popular indeed and ideal whilst wandering around catching the sights (and shopping) in Edinburgh.
We liked the smart casual look of the restaurant and the tasty food on offer at the launch, so will be heading there soon to try out their menu.
