The Potsdam Palace Night 2022

18/04/2022 by Emma Leave a Comment

On two evenings in August, Sanssouci Park in Potsdam is transformed into a large stage. Sanssouci Palace, the former summer residence of Frederick II, is part of Potsdam's UNESCO World Heritage Site and embedded in an extensive park landscape. During the Potsdam Palace Night, the park, the palaces and temples are brilliantly illuminated.

Voices from the German film and television skillfully set texts from literary classics from the world of fantasy. The circus troupe "Flotados" will perform their breathtaking show of artistry, music and projection at a height of eight metres. The theatre company "Compania La Tal Carilló" remains on the ground, as do the mariachi bands that accompany the strollers in Sanssouci Park. Popular and informative themed tours through the park are also offered.

Dates: 19th and 20th of August 2022

Tickets are availible online or in the Tourist Informations in Potsdam.
