The Luv Cafe, Linthouse

11th August 2010

Oh bit of a gap for somewhere so nice!

Had pannini again and still lovely, crisp bread but not mushed cheese – so we were happy. Service was a lot better, still clean and tidy and quirky

27th June 2008 visit

Had some lunch in the LUV Cafe (Linthouse Urban Village) just across from Elder Park in Govan. Lovely inside, server was a bit dour faced, not even a single smile 🙁

Selection of food was good ranging from Special Daily Smoothie (Banana) for £1.50, soups and sandwiches. We ordered a cheese, ham and red onion marmalade pannini and a cheese and tomato chutney pannini, and a tea for two. Huge cups although the tea had to sit for a good while before getting any colour (cheap or just that it was crappy typhoo?), food tasted lovely – the chutney especially went very well with the cheese. Toilet check was good, posh toilet roll (for a public toilet!) nice and clean although a disabled toilet the access to the toilet area wasn’t very good.

Overall – would go back, hoping the girl was just having a bad day with the lack of smile
