Works for The Ivy in Glasgow are in plan
After the expansion of The Ivy Collection to Edinburgh, Glasgow is next on the list. It’s been a bit of a wait, however, it now looks like plans are in hand to start work on the Buchanan Street site.
The design and build company have stated that they wish to amend as little as possible to the stunning exterior. New glass doors will be installed to enable the metal gates to be utilised and some trough greenery will be added to prettify the outdoor seating area.
The old Nationwide Building Society will be transformed into the glamorous elegance associated with The Ivy. There will be marble and wooden floors, bespoke furniture and fitting artwork.
There will be two floors to the bar and restaurant, both floors decorated to The Ivy standard. The toilets will also be decorated with marble and timber, heritage fittings and marble vanity units.
Here’s a look at what is planned for Glasgow.
The Restaurant is scheduled to open Spring 2019.
