New Glasgow opening The Drunken Cow
The Drunken Cow Bar & Grill has opened on Hope Street, across the road from The Pot Still bar. It has replaced La Boca tapas bar, which was a fave of ours.

On the menu are a wide selection of burgers made from Scottish beef and served with a variety of toppings such as haggis and whisky sauce. Italian influenced burger with mozzarella and Parma ham to a Jamaican burger with jerk sauce. There’s also a Wagu burger on the menu, we’ll have to try that one!

As well as burgers there are steaks , free range chicken plus steak and Guinness pie.

There’s a lunch menu that I’m sure the Colonel and I will be trying out. From 12-4pm, lunch dishes are £5. Choices include steak and Guinness pie, classic burger, mac & Cheese, chilli con carne and spicy chicken wings. The Chilli comes as a vegan option as well.
