Star Bar, Northumberland Place, Edinburgh – Feb 2011

Another hidden away pub.

Small pub, with two levels (toilets on upper level).

Quirky interior with LP covers adorning the walls, a jukebox that’s 10p a tune, table football and a beer garden (although this was being dug up when visited), tv showing sport on the lower level but quiet on the second level.

Usual suspects on draught.  G&T and a whisky was £6.65.

Friendly staff and comfy couch.

On the list for a return visit.
