Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 28th April - 2nd May 2016

spirit of speyside whisky festivalThe Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival runs between 28th April and 2nd May 2016.  This year sees Gordon Castle near Fochabers will be part of the Festival for the first time this year, giving festival goers rare access to an important venue in the spirit's history.

Events at Gordon Castle include exclusive dining experience on 30th April, which is normally closed to the public. Guests will learn about Gordon Castle's unique and interesting contribution to the whisky industry whilst enjoying a delicious four course dinner paired with wine and local whiskies.

Gordon Castle's stunning Walled Garden Café, set in amongst its impressive 8.5 acre historic Walled Garden, will host a Whisky Breakfast on 30th April. Guests will be treated to a traditional Scottish breakfast paired with whisky by 4th International Malt Whisky Nosing Champion, Vic Cameron.

An afternoon tea with Gordon Castle's own whisky cask cider (1st May) and a Whisky and Game Lunch (2nd May), both at the Walled Garden Café, will complete the programme of events at the festival for Gordon Castle.
