Shish Mahal, Park Road, Glasgow – June 2009

Being skint, we decided to throw caution to the wind and headed to the Shish Mahal for a curry.  Starters consisted of Poppadoms with sauce and mango chutney (very nice!), Cauliflower Lollypops – which were really cauliflower pakora, and mixed pakora.  I’d really be a happier bunny if I could like on cauliflower pakora in all honesty!  We then moved onto Lamb Biryani and Vegetable Biryani with the spiciest naan bread around – chillis and coriander.  I think we ate about two spoons each before being stuffed.  The starters are that big.  We took our dinner home (and it did us the next day!).  Dinner and drinks came to £31.75 which considering we got two nights dinner out of it wasn’t too bad!  Lovely spicy curries and expertly made pakora. Defo going back!
