Scotty Brand Chippy Chips Poutine

Heading

Sometimes, or OK a lot of times, carbs are needed. Here’s a recipe that will certainly fulfil that carb need. Using Scotty Brand Chippy Chips we made a Scottish version of Poutine. Thick crispy chips with a fluffy centre coated in gravy and fresh curds. Learn to make fresh cheese curds here, or use Scottish Cheddar to make it more Scottish. This is lazy cooking tonight, frozen chips, ready-made gravy and curds.

Scotty Brand Chippy Chips are made using Scottish grown potatoes and are irregularly cut for that real chippy experience.

Ingredients

Scotty Brand Chippy Chips
Ready-made gravy or gravy granules
Fresh curds or Scottish Cheddar Cheese

Method

We have a small air fryer so could only cook a portion at a time.
Cook the amount of Scotty Brand Chippy Chips you need for the hungry mouths you are feeding.
Whilst the chips are cooking, either boil and kettle and makeup gravy granules or pour some ready-made gravy into a pot and heat.
Once the chips are cooked, top with your fresh curds, or Scottish cheese, and drizzle with gravy.

Fred sez the chips are good just with salt and vinegar, maybe some creamy mayo as well.
