The dry but very lovely comedian Fred MacAulay will host this year’s Scottish Hotel Awards.
The Scottish Hotel Awards, are the country’s most comprehensive programme for the hotels and accommodation industry, will be announced at a gala dinner at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow on 19 April.
Fred commented: “The Hotel of the Year event is always a fun occasion and I’m looking forward to helping make it even more so this time. But the Awards also have a serious side in recognising and congratulating Scotland’s best hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfast establishments and serviced apartments, and their managements and staff.”
Damian Riley-Smith, Managing Director of Awards organiser Paragraph Publishing, added: “Fred’s popularity as an awards presenter and after-dinner speaker has taken him round the world. We’re delighted to have attracted him to host Scottish
hotels’ flagship event. It’s certain to be sold out and everyone there can count on being part of a magnificent evening.”
