The Dissection Room
One Square Bar will create our Gin Bar. Edinburgh is fast becoming ‘Gin City’ and One Square is at the helm with more than more than 60 different varieties proudly positioned behind their bar at The Sheraton Grand Hotel. Alessandro is the Gin Concierge. Expect premium G & T’s with your gin of choice and much more to boot.

Hammond Charcuterie– Scottish Charcuterie by the UK’s only female Charcuterier and one half of The Porky Quines.

Bistro Provence – With food from ‘Le Midi’ and an ‘Amelie-style’ epicerie.

La Garrigue – Food and Wine from the Langudeoc Rousillon by top chef Jean Michel Gauffre.

The Edinburgh Larder Bistro – committed to serving local and foraged food. Try their posh sausage rolls with meat from Peelham Farm!

Calistoga and Sideways Wine Store – A selection of canapes and wines from the ‘Sunshine State’. Napa in Edinburgh!

Bonny Vita Truffles – Francesco Loretucci brings products from above and below the ground in the land surrounding his home region of Norcia!

Bacco Wines – Valerio Lococo from Tuscany brings a selection of luscious Italian Wines from his home region and others throughout Italy.

Red Squirrel No Nut Gingernut Liqueur – Bruce Borthwick introduces this local and fabulous liqueur. A donation from every sale goes towards protecting red squirrels. Made in Fife!

Yo Sushi at Harvey Nichols bring their colourful and vibrant brand to Savour.

Woodlea Stables – Jock Sharp used to bake to de-stress from his job as a joiner. Now he runs his own organic bakery in the middle of the Fife countryside making a variety of loaves and pastries.

La Petite Mort – Expect canapes and cocktails from Edinburgh’s newest and best named restaurant!

The Wine Lab

WineTube Map and Vino Wines. 4 x 45 minute tastings on the hour! Upgrade your ticket to taste – 12 ‘wow’ wines from 3 lines on the WineTubeMap – 4 red, 4 white, 4 sparkling. A unique journey to explore wine as you never have before using sound, sight, touch and taste. Learn how to get the most from your wine, change how it tastes and do some food matching. Don your lab coat, listening equipment and most scientific face and join us in the wine lab.

MacSween’s Haggis – serving their new haggis and beef burgers.

Pickerings Gin – Handcrafted at Summerhall Distillery the first gin distillery to be established in Edinburgh for over 150 years and based on an original Bombay recipe. they will be serving an original ‘Savour Cocktail’!

Barney’s Beer – Brewed on the site of the original 1700s Summerhall brewery try the Red Rye and Good Ordinary Pale Ale.

The Cider Shed – Award winning Scottish Farmhouse Cider from Thistly Cross! Quench your thirst in the shed.

Cupcakes and Cocktails

Monboddo Bar from Doubletree Hilton will be serving up cocktails and cocktail-inspired cupcakes! Jaume is the head barman and native of Barcelona who will be mixing premium cocktails for your enjoyment.

Puddings Galore at Savour!

We all have a ‘little extra room reserved for Pudding! Don’t we?’ The Savour team know this and so have designed a bespoke Hall dedicated to indulgence with communal feasting tables.

Enjoy gourmet marshmallows and patisserie, chocolate (lot’s of it!) brownies, real custard creams and homebaking, macarons, artisan Italian gelato and wash it all down with great Sardinian, coffee and boutique teas.

Graze our Pud Hall Line-Up – for your delectation …

Zotter Chocolate – organic, fair-trade and creative. This Austrian brand is one of the world’s greatest chocolate makers and it is a bit of a coup to have them at Savour. They make a huge variety of choclolates some with wacky, zany flavours like currant chilli rock! Fascinating illustrations by Andreas h. Gratze,turn wrappers into art.

Cagliari Caffee is a Sardinian brand of coffee that is new to Edinburgh. Taste it at Savour first!

Affogato – Gelato e Caffee . Affogato is an Italian dessert typically consisting of vanilla gelato topped with a shot of espresso coffee. There may be Valrhona chocolate too if we talk to them nicely.

Eteaket – A fine selection of loose leaf teas from Edinburgh’s premium tea emporium!

Travelling Teapot – The only thing better than cake is two cakes! This could be the motto for these local afternoon tea specialists. Gluten and gluten-free home-baking. We love their real custard creams!

Zukr Boutique – High end teacakes like you have never seen before plus brownies, chocolates and macarons!

Coco of Bruntsfield – flavours such as – Rose & Black Pepper, Haggis Spice, Caramle, Hazelnut & Sea Salt are sure to entice.

The Marshmallow Lady – Handmade gourmet marshmallows with flavours such as passionfruit, salted caramel swirl and Millionaire Shortbread.

Ross Baxter of Bostock Bakery – Renowned as Scotland’s top patissier, Ross will be bringing a range of eclairs on the day. Some of the flavours will be Sea Salt Caramel & Mascarpone, Chocolate & Raspberry, Hazelnut, Toasted Caramelised Pecan & Vanilla, lemon plus a few more.

I am Emma and with my husband Mark write Foodie Explorers, which is a food and travel website.

I am a member of the Guild of Food Writers and British Guild of Travel Writers.

We have a wide range of judging experience covering products, hotels and have judged, for example, for Great Taste Awards and Scottish Baker of the Year.

Along the way Mark gained WSET Level 2 in Wine and I have WSET Level 2 in Spirits as well as picking up an award with The Scotsman Food and Drink Awards.    

Usually I can be found sleeping beside a cat.
