Shell-ebrate the season! Rogano Oyster Festival 2014
Oh dear! Never mind the pun, the beautiful surroundings of the Rogano is where to head for an extended oyster menu.
Rogano’s Oyster bar will offer a time limited menu of in season oysters in orders of 6, 9 and 12, starting at just £11.50.
“Diners can learn why Native Scottish are known as the ‘champagne of oysters’, discover the essence of melon in Jersey oysters, source out a hint of crab in oysters from French waters, or even sample polenta fried varieties throughout the festival.”
Love the staff in the Rogano, they know their stuff, are friendly and not as formal as the surroundings suggest. Great intro to oysters.
