Riz Raz, 20 Kompagnistrade, Copenhagen – June 2011

Located in the myriad of shopping streets in Copenhagen is this reasonably priced (for Copenhagen!) vegetarian friendly restaurant.

I was drawn here by their buffet, which has been recommended online. At 79kr per person for their buffet this is a great price. We also opted for a sample platter of their fish/meat dishes at 79kr per person. Little did we know the actual buffet was better than we had first seen, there was an extra section around the corner with pasta and veggie lasagne – so needless to say we spent more than we needed to and where stuffed!

selection of local beers on offer too, some made by microbreweries.  With two beers the bill came to 406kr.

All in all, a cheap meal, by Copenhagen standards,  very filling and well worth it.
