Review – Cafe am Kamin, Falckensteinstraße 18, 10997 Berlin, Germany

Friendly, local cafe

We stumbled across this neighbourhood cafe wandering through Kreuzberg catching some sun. As it was hot and sticky we decided some refreshment was needed. This place looked good. Clean, tidy, chatty folk outside perfect.

We checked out their menu, good prices (as is Berlin) and some nice looking food – omelettes etc for breakfast sounded good.  We needed liquid and the fruit milkshakes caught out eye – Pineapple and Mint and a Chocolate and Banana sounded great.

They were delicious.  Refreshing and perfect for such a hot day.  Service was quick, friendly and the owner helped us along with a lovely neighbourhood map.
